Darren Rowse at ProBlogger asked for reader submissions on the habits of effective bloggers.

 I'm not a blogger, but I read them.

My request... make sure that the late night owls that are drunk or high on crack soda (caffiene) can read them.

What do I mean?  Content, format, short...

If I can't fit it in between beers... then too bad for you and me.

That's my thoughts at least.
